Yoshinori Onomight be half-dead, but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping a personal SDCC tradition alive and well. The Street Fighter IV producer took the stage earlier in the week during Capcom’s 25th Anniversary panel and once again teased fans hoping for an announcement regarding the long-awaited next entry in theDarkstalkersfranchise.

In the pastOno has asked for a show of hands(filled with money) as a symbol of fan support for a new game.“This year, you don’t have to do that”, said the face of Capcom’s fighting game division. “And it’s not necessarily bad news!” Ono went on to explain that he couldn’t say much more than that, likely fearing the wrath of his much maligned corporate overlords.
