TheWuthering Waves2.2 livestream is scheduled to begin on July 09, 2025, at 7 pm (UTC+8). The developers will reveal a bunch of details about all the new content from the upcoming update.

Expected announcements in Wuthering Waves 2.2 livestream
Character showcase
Cantarella will be released as a playable character in version 2.2. She is a 5-star Havoc Resonator who uses a Rectifier and the livestream will showcase her main abilities and playstyle. The developers might also share some other information about Cantarella, such as her personality and how she usually operates.
Furthermore, Rover is expected to finally obtain the Aero Attribute in version 2.2 so the developers may showcase some of their abilities.
Banners
Cantarella is the only new character in Wuthering Waves 2.2. Besides her debut banner, you may expect at least 2 or 3 other 5-star Resonators to get a rerun banner. The Shorekeeper and Camellya have the highest chances of returning since they are the only ones without a rerun.
Weapon
You can also look forward to new weapon announcements. Cantarella will get her own signature 5-star Rectifier that will be featured on the weapon banner for a limited time. In addition, according to the beta info shared by Hakush.in, Rover will get a new signature Sword so the officials may share some details about it.
Events
Naturally, there will be new events announcements in theWuthering Waves 2.2 livestream. This will give you a rough idea of how many free rewards you’re able to get in the upcoming update.
New area and enemies
The beta leaks also show a Rinascita map expansion and a bunch of new enemies in the upcoming update. More details about them are expected to be revealed during the livestream. This may include new exploration mechanisms and quests.
Livestream codes
Lastly, you can look forward to 3 new codes during the Wuthering Waves 2.2 livestream. Based on the past Special Broadcasts, you can redeem them to get free rewards of up to 300 Astrites and other in-game items. Do remember that the livestream codes generally expire within 2 to 3 days so it is best to redeem them as soon as possible.

Kuro Games has announced that they will update some gameplay features of the Whimpering Wastes in version 2.2 so they will reveal more details about it during the livestream. In addition, the developers may share other upcoming QoL updates that will be implemented in the game.
