Its rainingPlayStation 4 dealsChristmas Eve as Best Buy is slashing prices on two PS4 bundles. The White PS4 Destiny bundle is cut down to $349.99 along with the recently introduced “Four Games, One Pick” bundle (which comes with a choice ofDestiny,Far Cry 4,LittleBigPlanet 3, andNBA 2K15).
We’re pretty sure that if Best Buy had offered this deal a bit earlier, sales would be stronger vs. the day before Christmas – but we’re notbusiness people– just robots sipping eggnog in their underpants during the holidays, so what would we know about intriguing world of retail product pricing.
(Likely scenario is that Best Buy has found itself with more PS4 units than expected in inventory, hence the last-minute price cut).
As we mentioned earlier this week, Walmart also cut prices on the PS4 to $329.99 (this deal is now out of stock). Unlike Walmart’s offer, Best Buy’s is available for shipping and store pickup.
In terms of value, the Best Buy’s deal is fairly competitive. Essentially you’re paying $20 more than the Walmart deal for: 1) a white PS4 with a copy ofDestinyor 2) a black PS4 with a copy of a game other thanDestiny. Notbad.jpg.
Update: The White PS4 bundle is out of stock but Best Buy has spiced up the other bundle by adding in a free bonus item of a Sony Wired Stereo Headset ($50 value).
