The latestType Soulupdate added a bunch of new items you’re able to acquire, including a new Broken Element Reroll. While most Reroll items inType Soulare pretty straight forward in terms of functionality, the Broken Element Reroll is a bit of an outlier. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Broken Element Reroll item inType Soul.
How to get the Broken Element Reroll item
The Broken Element Reroll item is acquired by completing various forms of challenging content inType Soulincluding raids. You can also acquire the Broken Element Reroll by redeeming a Code that specifically gives you a Broken Element Reroll. Like most items, it will appear under the Items category when looking in your inventory.
The Broken Element Reroll item is a single time use, meaning you will need to acquire multiple if you plan to use it more than once.
What does the Broken Element Reroll do?
As of now, the Broken Element Reroll item isn’t working properly. The tooltip indicates the item ‘Unlocks your Bankai’, but it doesn’t actually do that right now, so don’t trust it! In fact, if you try to use the item from hotbar, it will glitch your game, requiring you to restartType Soul.
Some players have also indicated that using the item has actually broken their Bankai Progression as opposed to unlocking Bankai. Using the Broken Element Reroll during the Bankai Boss Fight causes the game to glitch resulting in your death and being sent back to the beginning of the Bankai quest line.
With the term Broken literally in the name of the item, it appears this is a Work in Progress item that the developers plan to have working eventually. However, it could also indicate the item needs to be repaired (fixed, not broken) to have actual usability. At the time of this post, there is no discernable way to do so, however.
