Of neon and ninjas

The ultra-sleek isometric shooter,Tokyo 42, is set to release on PC and Xbox One on May 31. Developer Mode 7 Games have also announced that the PlayStation 4 version will launch in Mid-July.

Accompanying the release date announcement is a super short trailer. In 4.2 seconds, a series of flashing images leap across the screen, effectively serving as the world’s most efficient elevator pitch forTokyo 42.

I’ve had my eye on Mode 7’s upcoming game for a while now. The diorama-like presentation is an interesting take on open-world action that has plenty of potential for wild situations. Plus, there’s a button dedicated to putting on your character’sduster jacket, which is rad as hell.
