Three new maps, new game modes

During Respawn’s PAX East panel on the development ofTitanfallthe team announced its first new DLC,Expedition, which takes place after the story (it had one) ofTitanfall. Shown off in the above screen is Swampland, where there’s some archaic alien junk and a lot of trees. Yes, you can wall run on trees, Tarzan. It allows for more unpredictable paths while wall running rather than more linear buildings.

Another map, Runoff, is loosely connected to Swampland. Instead of trees, there are pipes and water. The last map in the pack is War Games, which is inside the training simulator,Tron-like.

Free bug fixes and patches like the addition of private matches are still going to continue. New game modes and burn cards will be free as well, including a two-on-two Last Titan Standing mode and Titan-themed burn cards. The team is also considering a HUD-free spectator mode. Also in the works is a hashtag system for group play meetings without exchanging IDs and more difficult coordination; for example, you could search #destructoid and get together with Dtoid community members who are playing without the need for a lot of organization.
