I attempt to limit my visits to GameStop for obvious reasons these days, so this bit o’ news aboutAmazonoffering up “release-date delivery” for $5.98 is intriguing. Even better is the fact that Amazon Prime members can get this shipping upgrade for free.
Unfortunately, this relatively new shipping option isn’t available for all upcoming releases, but games likeFable 2,Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09, andStar Wars: The Force Unleashedare among the titles to get the special treatment.
As far as I know, this is the cheapest method of getting games on day one without leaving the house. In fact, I’m actually considering subscribing to Amazon Prime now.
