The first thing I said when looking at JoeCamNet’s gaming setup was “HOLY SH*T!” Needless to say, JoeCamNet has a huge collection of videogames. He has some awesome collectors items, a Virtual Boy, and the awesomeGears of War 2collectors Lancer. Tubatic found a treasure chestfilled with retrogaming magazines. Among the magazines, he foundthe third issue ofNintendo Fun Club News magazine that was all about The Legend of Zelda. So awesome. Faith showed offmore of her Perler Beadgaming sprites. There are anumber of videogame charactersand my favorite is easily her Master Chief one.

LaxLuster shared a couple of stories on the blogs this past week about his little daughter and her experience with videogames. Herfirst videogame wasSaints Row 2and LaxLuster cleverly disguised all the violent aspects of the game from her. Such as when LaxLuster shoots people in the game, it’s really LaxLuster “taking a picture” of people in the game. She’s alsorocking out like a rockstarinGuitar Hero.

Tactix, along with members from DtoidSanFrancisco, got into a Capcom Press Event last week. Tactix got to play withResident Evil 5,Bionic Commando, tryon theBionic Commandoarm, and had a great time. I can’t say enough how awesome Capcom is for letting gamers into their events like this.
