I love how Pokemon is still relevant 20 years later
The Pokemon Company released an official Magikarp music video, and I don’t suggest watching it if you’re prone to nightmares.
In this video we see Magikarp carried away by a Pigeotto, presumably to be slaughtered, grabbed by pointy fishing line hooks, and plenty of footage of him floundering in pain on the ground.
It reminds me of the seedier parts of the Pokemon anime, like the fact that Farfetch’d being eaten with his leek is a common occurrence, and that Cubone is actually wearing the skull of his dead mother.
