Sony has just announced that aRatchet and Clankmovie is in production, set for release in 2015. The long-running franchise has always seemed to be a perfect fit for the big screen, but now it’s happening out of nowhere.
While the film is being made byBlockade EntertainmentandRainmaker Entertainment, Sony says that Insomniac is also going hands-on to help out, giving guidance onproduction, screenplay, characters, and animation.T.J. Fixman, the writer behind the games, will also be writing this movie’s script.
