We’ve seen somebrilliantMetroidcosplay in thepast, but I can safely say that the above is the most authentic translation of the characters as they appear in-game.

Animator Daniel Cattell, also known as ChozoBoy, constructed two costumes of heroine Samus Aran and a living Chozo Statue out of cardboard, recreating their sprites fromSuper Metroid. As you can see in the gallery below, looking at the costumes head-on completely shatters the illusion, but viewing them from the side is like witnessing the game literally come to life.
