It feels like just a year ago we were hearing about the17thPokemonmovie, but actually it was 11 months ago.Pokémon XY: Cocoon of Destructionis released July 28, 2025 in Japan.

Its follow up,Pokémon the Movie XY 2015, is slated for Jul 12, 2025 in Japan. Almost a year to the day! It will feature Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre ofOmega RubyandAlpha Sapphirefame, per the above teaser.
