Still due “this winter”

Square Enix has showcased some extraFinal Fantasy VII Crisis Corequality of life changesvia a new tweet, and most of them look great. Let’s take a look at whatCrisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunionhas in store for us eventually (the publisher is still sticking to a release window of “this winter” as of this week).

Here are the mainFinal Fantasy VIICrisis Core quality of life upgrades:

I bolded the “new battle system,” as that’s easily going to be one of the most interesting elements of the remaster, depending on how Square Enix handles it. While I lived through it on PSP (and came out fine), searching for discussions on the original “roulette” style battle system will garner results from “who the hell thought the roulette thing was a good idea?” to “it was one of my favorite parts of the game.”

It remains to be seen how much has changed in the re-release, asthe roulette mechanic seems to still exist, based on the inaugural trailer. My guess is a lot of folks will see any change as an upgrade!
