Materia is back
This week at E3, Destructoid got the chance to sit down with Square Enix producer Ichiro Hazama and chat a bit about the bizarreFinal Fantasy VIIG-Bike minigamethat’s hitting the mobile platform soon.
Speaking on the game itself, Hazama noted that, “G Bike takes that original bike chase mini game and kind of incorporates the language ofFinal Fantasy VIIand kind of builds upon that element.” To really make it true to the original, elements like materia, different weapons, classic monsters, and even new tracks will make an appearance. Characters “from the universe” are also fair game.
Let’s hope it all pans out, and really gives us that taste ofFinal Fantasy VII HDthat we all have wanted for years. Let’s…really hope…together.
