Splinter Cell: Convictionnever got the love it deserved. While it certainly deviated from the established tropes of the previous four games in the series,Conviction’sshift away from non-lethal choices perfectly matched Sam Fisher’s motivation as a character. He had been betrayed by the agency that he dedicated his life to, so why would he even consider keeping people alive?
It is a great game, though, and one you should experience. While it was previously only available on Xbox 360 and PC, the game has now joined Xbox One’s backward compatible program. To commemorate the event, Ubisoft is holding a 50% off sale from now until February 12 on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
