Every year, players get the chance to vote for their favorite PlayStation games in different categories. Several titles have won in various categories, withSpider-Man 2voted the PS5 Game of the Year.
The win is not a surprise considering its stellar sales and the positive reception it has received from players and critics. The PS4 hasn’t been forgotten, andHogwarts Legacywon Game of the Year for the console.According to PlayStation, competition was tight, and it squeezed pastResident Evil 4 Remakeby a mere half a percent of votes.

Our sympathies to@insomniacgamesand all the affected team members. After all the effort and dedication they have poured into their games, they didn’t deserve this. No one does. The hackers also leaked employee’s personal information, which is truly disgraceful and shameful.
While Insomniac can celebrate these victories, it is also currentlyfacing a data leak from hackers. Fortunately, the gaming industry has been showing great support for the studio.
