Might finally get a price and release date?

Now that Oculus and HTC have formally unveiled their launch plans for the Rift and the Vive, that only leaves Sony left to show off the PlayStation VR.

Well according toIGN, Sony has begun sending out invitations to a press event in San Fransisco on March 15, where Sony will reveal all and allow those attending to get some hands-on time with the tech.

It will be interesting to see how much the PS VR costs. Some think it will need to be priced lower than the Rift for it to succeed, but the argument can be made that it running off of the PlayStation 4 instead of the expensive, high-end PC the Vive and Rift require may mean the price of it ultimately doesn’t really matter.

So, how much do you think it’ll cost? Will you need to sell a few kidneys to buy it, or only have to remortgage your house?
