Out of all three console powers, no company has as much scope for cross-platform connectivity as Sony. The company has a whole range of hardware that it could link to the PS3, and the newSony Ericsson Ainoproves it. Sony is launching a new “Communications Entertainment” initiative with Aino as the vanguard. It’s a phone that lets you screw around with your PS3 usingscience.
Aino will allow users to access and control their PS3 media content via the handset’s own XMB. The phone can communicate with the PlayStation 3 via Wi-Fi or 3G, and users will also be able to get into the PlayStation Store and chat to friends via the PSN. What’s more, you could use Aino to buy and download a PSN game so that it’s ready to play whenever you get home.

No word on the price yet, so expect it to cost eight thousand dollars.
