Diversity (or lack thereof) gets the stink finger
Spotted around the happenings of this year’s Game Developers Conference was a sticker that tells us game development is for whites only.
Diversity in game development (especially amongst the sexes) continues to be a hot-button issue and with statements like these, it appears we have a ways to go for race diversity as well — at least in this anonymous person’s mind.
While the sticker doesn’t outright say it is trying to promote diversity, we have to assume the placement ofSELMA, ALA, in the bottom left corner is a big hint that it is.
