Everything new inSea of ThievesSeason 12
Developer Rare outlined everything it has planned forSea of Thievesin Season 12 and beyond during its 2024 Preview Event. Just in case you missed it, I’ve highlighted all the new content you’re able to get in the game once the season is out below.
New weapons and tools
With Season 12, two new weapons and three new tools are being added toSea of Thieves. The aim of these items is to mix up the current meta and get players to use something different each time they drop into the game. The new weapons and tools are as follows.
Rare isn’t only adding new weapons and tools, though; it’s improving old ones. For example, it will now be possible to balance on Harpoon Lines. This means you can now open up routes to other ships on the seas or make it easier to get onto and off of islands.

Ziplines
With Season 12’s launch, more ziplines are going to appear on the islands aroundSea of Thieves. They’ve been carefully placed across the game’s islands where players can make the most of them, not simply placed anywhere without a thought. they offer faster traversal, easier access to ships, and escape routes from skeletons.
