Not too long now
Minecrafton the Xbox 360 iscurrently the highest grossingXbox LIVE Arcade game out there and, nearly a year after its release, is still one of the most played games on Xbox LIVE — outdoing most retail games when it comes to online activity.
Given all the success, it was hardly surprising to hear thata retail versionofMinecraft: Xbox 360 Editionwas to be released by Microsoft, 4J Studios, and Mojang. A disc-basedMinecraftgame for Xbox 360 is still happening, it’s just we’re going to need to wait a little while longer.

Larry Hryb has posted an update on the game, stating that, “to include the very latest content, the retail version forMinecraft: Xbox 360 Editionhas been delayed until June 4 (US).”
No news yet if other regions, which had been given an “early June” launch date, will also be receiving a delay.
