In this video forRed Faction: Armageddon, we see a cinematic from the game set next to motion capture footage of the sequence. If you’ve played the demo, you’ll recognize this as the scene which plays at the beginning. It’s interesting to see a bit of the process, with all of the different takes in the small studio space comprising the whole of the scene.
Speaking of theRed Faction: Armageddondemo, I liked it. I can see why fans of the series would balk at a linear, plot-driven game but I don’t have any particular attachment there. I figure, if you’re able to make a good game, make a good game. Hopefully that’s what they’ll wind up with when the game releases in June.
