A modern take on the C64 shmup Uridium

MixedBag’s space shooterFuturidiumlooked rad on PS Vita, but when it comes to PlayStation games, one version doesn’t cut it any more. Not when there’s the possibility of Cross-Buy. Thankfully, the expandedFuturidium EP Deluxeis also coming to PS4 and it’ll be a “buy one, get both versions” deal when it releases “soon” on PlayStation Network.

It took me a little while to grasp what was going on in this trailer. Basically, the player is blasting apart blue cubes to refill energy and flying back and forth across the same ship until it is able to destroy the vessel’s power core, allowing it to move to the next level. Super neat.
