I’m not the only one who’s bummedNintendo squashed its sleep-tracking device. The Pokémon Company is stepping up with a quality-of-life initiative of its own:Pokémon Sleep. The mobile app hopes to “turn sleeping into entertainment” and it’ll work with Nintendo’s new Pokémon Go Plus + device.
We’re pleased to announce the development of Pokémon Sleep, a new app from@Pokemon_cojpthat tracks a user’s time sleeping and brings a gameplay experience unlike any other!

Pokémon Go Plus + (that’s the actual stylized-as-intended name) “will use an embedded accelerometer to track a user’s time sleeping and send this information to their smartphone via Bluetooth,” according to The Pokémon Company. “This new device also has the same functions as the original Pokémon Go Plus, so Trainers can use it withPokémon Goduring the day and withPokémon Sleepat night.”
Pokémon Sleep, a very real and not at all made-up mobile app, launches in 2020. Sleep tight!
