In the upcoming 3DS game, players will be able to unlock Link fromThe Legend of Zeldaand ride on Epona. In today’s JapaneseNintendo Direct, some video was shown from the game that had Link traveling with a companion in Majora’s mask.

While I’ve been meaning to get intoMonster Hunterfor a long time, my heart skipped a few beats when I saw Link in4: Ultimate. I still have, somehow, not bought the game, but all of theseZeldanods are really making me regret not getting on board.
The game will launch in Japan on October 8, but there hasn’t been a release date mentioned for the West. Seeing as how each entry has been localized in one form or another (apart fromFrontier), I don’t think we’ll have to worry about missing out on this.
