TheKorg DS-10is musical-creation software and a synthesizer on a Nintendo DS cartridge. What a crazy idea! We wanted to talk to the people behind the idea of putting a synthesizer and music-making software on a portable game system. Devils May Cry Capcom has shared some of the details forDevil May Cry 5’sonline multiplayer. Instead of trying to shoehorn in a competitive mode, the online options will allow for seamless cooperative play with other players online. Taking a page out ofDark Souls, players will occupy a “shared single-play” world that will have echoes of other players walking around. You’ll be able to watch as other people attempt to best enemies, though they won’t have any direct interaction with you....

The Little Pika That Could I’m on the hunt for cute stuff today, maybe a subconscious effort to offset the emotional bummer of the days now being shorter and darker and colder. The temporary cure for seasonal affective disorder is Pikachu driving a Christmas train. Choo choo, pika pika. A new Pokémon Center original is aholiday figurinewhere Pikachu drives the Delibird Express, Eevee hangs out by the smoke stack, and Pichu looks on in glee....

Another win for options While the trio ofDoomgames were in rough shape on Switch when they first arrived (yikes, Bethesda logins!), that lunacy has been patched out, and Bethesda has continued to patch the series. This time around, we’re getting a hefty update forDoomandDoom II. All versions now have access to the community mod BTSX Episodes 1 and 2, Nightmare mode “has been restored” to make enemies twice as fast, widescreen rendering support is in, a crosshair can be enabled for more precise aiming, just like the original and a ton of bugs have been squashed....

Because why wouldn’t you name your studio that? Earlier this year, Electronic Arts opened up a new studio in Gothenburg, Sweden that’s being led by Marcus Nilsson, who previously served as an executive producer at DICE. The team is said to be building games with the Frostbite 2 engine, including a newNeed for Speedtitle. The studio has since been dubbedGhost Games, which is a fun name, if I do say so myself....

Of all of the daily quests that players can acquire inFallout 76, hacking a terminal is the most loathed of them all. The hacking minigame isn’t as exciting as exterminating pests or hunting down creatures for their materials. Plus, perks are required to attempt to hack most of the terminals found in the game. But hacking terminals doesn’t have to be so tedious. Unlike slaying creatures, players don’t have to worry about spawns or interference from others....

Goin’ Hobgoblin Mode If you’ve put in a few hours into Marvel Snap, the new competitive card battler from developer Second Dinner, chances are you’re starting to see somepretty powerful cardspop up in your collection. If your collector’s level has hit 222, you’ve officially hit Deck Pool 2. Marvel Snap divides its cards into a variety of pools, including starter cards, the predetermined cards of Collector’s Levels 1-14, and Deck Pools 1, 2, and 3, which reward players with new cards in a randomized order....
