Haha ok I’ve alreadyprofessed my love for Japanese arcades, having visited some for the first time a few months back, but this is something else entirely. Namco Bandai is reportedly teaming up with Hooters to bring a “Gaming Barside-B” concept arcade to Japan. It will open up on December 18 in Shibuya, and will feature “all you can eat and game” for 30 minutes, priced at 1,500 yen, with a 500 yen charge after that....

For better or worse, the company will not be further pursuing game rentals, according to CEO Reed Hastings. I suppose that would explain why there hasn’t been much talk regarding the subject as of late. It’s disappointing, but expanding to offer games now seems like the wrong strategy as we increasingly move away from discs. From Super Smash Con I was able to playBrawloutat Super Smash Con, and really took to it. Sure it was an early build with some tweaks to iron out mechanically, but already in its alpha state it’s impressive. Developer Angry Mob Games has decided to share some tournament gameplay from the event, and you can get a good look at some of the advanced mechanics as a result. Olaf, the giant boxer-like character that utilizes ice attacks was my personal favorite....

This is all your fault Resident Evil 6, the movie,not the horrible game, is a thing that is still happening. The Paul W.S. Anderson directed movie is expected to be the last one, and is set for a July 18, 2025 release date. Shooting is expected to start this fall, and will once again star the lovely Milla Jovovich.
