A fresh batch ofKane & Lynch 2: Dog Daysscreenshots are here for your amusement. Look at them if you like looking at screenshots of things. After havingplayed the demo, I am keeping myself optimistically hopeful for the full game. As somebody who actually enjoyed the original despite its glaring problems, seeing this fantastically grotesque duo in a tigher game is very encouraging indeed. These characters deserve to be remembered for good things, not for getting Jeff Gerstmann fired....

Time to play catchup It’s been an eventful past six months forLeague of Legends. While I’ve been covering new Champions since 2013, I slipped a bitsince Gnarlate in 2014, as a few other major MMOs as well as fellow MOBAHeroes of the Stormcaught my attention. But no matter how good those games are, they aren’t enough for me to shake myLeagueaddiction entirely. Here are some updated impressions for all of the recent champions since last September....

Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, 30th Anniversary Mario Classic Color, Olimar, Zero Suit Samus will launch on September 11, right alongside ofSuper Mario Maker. On September 25, the “retro 3-pack” will launch, starring Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, and R.O.B. This is inline withthe GameStop eventthat’s being held this Saturday. The Mii Fighters will now launch as a 3-pack in November....

Sometimes I’m a simple man, and these new screenshots for Sega’sViking: Battle for Asgardcertainly speak to my baser instincts. In one screen there’s a giant troll, all battle scarred and dripping with blood. In another screen the game’s protagonist Skarin decapitates an enemy, and another shows him tearing through a torso, exposing what appears to be intestines. Finally, there’s some menacing looking chick wearing a tight leather strapless outfit. What more can you ask for in this battle between mortal and gods in Asgard, the realm of the Norse Gods?...

The top 400 Pokemon Trainers in the world descended onto sunny Hawaii, where thePokemon Company Internationalhosted the2012 Pokemon World Championships. The tournament, featuring battles in both video and card games, was an invite only affair, hosting players from 30 different counties and a variety of age groups. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chroniclesis set to come out on November 17 and the final trailer promoting the game was released this week. Path Finder Hello Games has mostly kept to itself as of late, but it hasn’t stopped working onNo Man’s Sky. Another update is planned for release this week following last year’sbase-building Foundation Update. “We’re calling it the Path Finder Update; it introduces a new vehicle that will aid home planet exploration, building on the Foundation Update to hint at a path ahead for the future,” teased the team. There aren’t any patch notes yet, but those will be available once the new content is up....

I WANT THIS I see those plastic-y all-in-one game consoles all the time. I feel drawn to them, but always pass on them in the end. I still have all my old systems, after all, and they all still work. But the Analogue Nt has already won me over, though it only plays Nintendo games. It was created to provide the highest quality NES experience available. It’s innards are designed around the classic console, but they’ve upgraded the kit for top performance....
