Xbox VR won’t happen in 2017 Whatever Microsoft has up its sleeve for E3, it allegedly won’t include a virtual reality headset. Despite being the logical time to launch this sort of initiative, it seems as if Xbox’s take on VR will be pushed into 2018 or beyond. Nintendo Switch titles continue to climb After last week saw near-five-year-oldGrand Theft Auto Vreturn to the top of the U.K. charts, the status quo was re-established this week and Activision’sCall of Duty: WWIIregained the number-one spot. Elsewhere in the Top Ten, advances were made by a selection of Switch titles, withMario Kart 8 Deluxe,Zelda: Breath of the WildandSuper Mario Odysseyall moving up from last week. As is tradition, Supergiant Games has stuffedHades 2with interesting NPCs and interesting dialogue. Of major interest to players is sleepy-headed Hypnos, who can be found napping to the right of Hecate’s cauldron at The Crossroads. Hypnos is a returning character fromHades 2, and looks extremely comfortable curled up in his red cloak, strewn in a hammock, and enjoying some rest. He has been asleep since the events of the last game, and was actually brought by Hecate to The Crossroads after Cronos decided to take over Hades....

Currently live on PS3, still set for the 360 Blizzard has dropped a patch forthe PS3 version ofDiablo III, and it fixes a number of bugs in the game, such as crashes that occur when quitting during a cutscene, or other multiplayer related glitches. It’s nice to see Blizzard taking care of the console version, which many see as superior to the PC game due to the lack of online-only DRM and the removal of an Auction House....

More Magic and Gold find percentages for playing with others As Blizzardoutlined in the past, the new 1.0.8updateforDiablo IIIis multiplayer-centric, bringing enhancements like Magic and Gold find bonuses for having more players and notifications for Elite monster encounters. There are also some minor fixes, like achievement bugs, as well as some major Battle.net tweaks, like improved matchmaking tags, and social (friend list) features. Classes also had some tweaking, with pretty much every character in the game getting some sort of buff....
