Kickstarter has been one of the most interesting online phenomemans in recent years, funding a variety of projects from comics and novels to films and videogames. Now, sci-fi author Rick Dakan who wrote three instalments of his cyberpunk series Geek Mafia, has founded a newKickstarter project call Mob Rule. The big idea behind Mob Rule is that backers will get to vote on what game actually gets developed, right now there’s three different games but only one will become a fully finished title....

So yesterday, wereported on noted RPG developer Obsidian’s Kickstarter project; a new, isometric RPG namedProject Eternity. In a complete non-surprise to everyone, the project has reached its $1,110,000 goal in just over 24 hours. It’s been interesting to see the likes of Obsidian,Double FineandinXilecash in on the goodwill (and money) of their fans. Again, it’s no guarantee of a quality game in the end, but if you want someone to make a decent isometric RPG, Obsidian is a good choice....

After nearly two years and some 800,000 copies sold,Plague Inc: Evolvedis ready for a full release on Windows, Mac, and Linux. That’ll happen next Thursday, February 18. “By the time we launch, 18 major Evolutions (updates) will have been released, with some of the highlights including competitive & co-operative multiplayer, a custom content creator (with almost 10,000 user-generated scenarios made so far!), three major new disease types, and 20 scenarios,” wrote Ndemic Creations founder James Vaughan....

Thanks to Serebii.net, we now know that there is going to be a 7 star Cinderace event running on December 30, with a “second chance” coming on January 13.This is the exact same scheme as the Charizard raid events, but there’s a little more leeway here to finish up the requirements (which includes not only finishing the base game, but some postgame as well)....
