‘Ultimately, you, the players, must get an unforgettable adventure to experience’ NoWitcher 3this year — it stings, doesn’t it? But we’ll be better off. CD Projekt’s board has written about its reasons for the delay to February 2015 in an open letter, viewable in full below. “We could have released the game towards the end of this year as we had initially planned,” reads the letter. “Yet we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us....

The Nic Cage version, obviously Today’s contest features unique card-battling gameCardpocalypsefor Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One! This one caught my eye because the monsters are batshit insane — and you get to create them! Who doesn’t love creation? Cards games are cool and all, but I’ve always wanted to have some agency as to what my cards look like and do. And this one seems to deliver on that idea....

Bethesda, Ubisoft, and more to join in? PCGamesNhas reported about the survey, which asks participants about an “all-you-can-play video game subscription service on your PC”, and what sort of plan they would be most likely to pay for....

Epic Games is working out the kinks of Fortnite’s subscription service

As-is, it’s pretty straightforward Having playedFortnite‘s battle royale mode since it launched, I can attest to dealing with platform-based issues. After sneakily showing the world that yes,Sonycando cross-platform play years ago, the console giant acquiesced, and opened the flood gates for true cross-platform play. It was the first major instance ofeveryplatform (mobile included) working together, but not everything is perfect (and maybe never will be, due to the adversarial nature of console publishing)....

Football sim takes its inevitable seat at No.1 The final UK Charts of 2020 have been released, and see Electronic Arts’ football simFIFA 21sitting pretty at number one, just missing out on the coveted Christmas Number One position by a mere week. That title belongs to Ubisoft’s viking adventureAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. Understandably, much of the Top Ten is occupied by December’s big sellers, such as Activision’sCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Sony’sSpider-Man Miles Morales, CDPR’sCyberpunk 2077, and Ubisoft’s perennial Holiday successJust Dance 2021....

Fuse demo drops next week with split-screen support

Find some friends to play this with The general vibe I’m getting aboutFuseis that of disappointment. The cooperative shooter isn’t what people want from Insomniac Games, and although I feel similarly, we should probably wait until we have first-hand experience with the title before judging too harshly. A chance to do exactly that is coming up: a demo forFusehits Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on Tuesday, May 7. For what it’s worth, this demo supports full four-person co-op online and two-player split-screen; there’s not enough of the latter in modern games....
