‘…And she’s buying a Stadia to Haven’ Six additional developers have taken their leave of Google Stadia to join producer Jade Raymond in her new venture, Haven Studios. The new companywas founded by Raymondfollowing her own departure from the Stadia project back in February. Just over a year, in-game currency ‘expiring’ Sony’s gotta-catch-’em-all Vita card gameDestiny of Spiritswill be shut down June 30. Apparently the “over one million downloads” were not enough to sustain the free-to-play Vita title and so Sony will be “ending service.” Destiny of Spiritsjust released last March. After June 30, you will not be able to access the game, or any of the in-game currency you might’ve purchased. That, too, will vanish, though Sony will still be selling the in-game currency until June 30 in the Americas and until the end of April in Europe and Asia....

Specs of first dev kit revealed After tonight’s reveal, Sony spent some time at their GDC talk to discuss some details on the technical goals for their new VR headset, codenamed Project Morpheus. Project Morpheus calls on Sony’s electronics divisions to meet some of the technical needs for the headset. While they avoided any specifics on the display, technologies and expertise from their display division were used toward their vision for VR....

Have you been wondering what’s going on withThey Bleed Pixels? Well wonder no more! Developer Spooky Squid Games has announced they’re bringing the game to PC through Steam. The original plan was to release on Xbox Live’s Indie Games channel. The move to Steam was done thanks to the urging of fans and other game developers that felt the game deserved “a larger audience.” Now all we need is an actual release date, but in the mean time here’s a new trailer showing off a ton of blood and pixels....

But this E3 trailer forDog Daysis making me consider picking it up just to get to know more about the characters. The bit of monologue at the outset has me damn curious too. ToeJam & Earlmight be my favorite game released for the Genesis console, with its randomly generated levels, crazy Earthlings and couch cooperative play. I spent countless hours holed up in a dark bedroom playing it as a teen and I’m greatly looking forward to doing it again without having to drag out the Genesis (or reconnect my Wii; I have a pretty limited number of outlets in here)....

Niiiiiice Are you a car person? It’s so weird talking about cars to someone that isn’t a car person. It’s like when someone talks about football to me. I always just picture a televised game in super fast forward, where the damned ball is just going back and forth, back and forth, showing how silly it all would be with some perspective.
