Prepare for the first of several FPS clashes to round out 2025 this weekend, gamers. It’sBattlefieldandCall of Dutyall over again. On Thursday, Aug. 7, both theBattlefield 6open beta andBlack Ops 6season five updates will be going live. And so, just like later this fall, the two massive FPS franchises will be going head-to-head for gamers’ time and, eventually, money.
