Magical rides that are weapons Following the news ofKingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remixcomes this brand newKingdom Hearts IIItrailer from Disney’s D23 Expo happening in Japan right now. The trailer is just a couple of major fight scenes that sees Sora, Donald, and Goofy using both a pirate ship and a train to fight some enemies. A pretty simple and straightforward trailer, eh? I’m all for launching magical choo choo trains straight into the chest of a giant two-headed rock monster....

Of all the releases this week, onlyWanted: Weapons of Fatehas my interest. Still, I doubt I’ll get the game anytime soon. It’s probably a good thing that this week is dry as it just gives me plenty of time to devote toHenry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure. The big release of the week is easilyPokemon Platinum,continuing the trend of March being the month of the Nintendo DS.Too bad there’s so much shovelware on the DS week, too....

While Nintendo has yet to even hint at an announcement for its next console, you can at least not expect to see it at Gamescom 2024 as the publisher has confirmed it won’t be attending. In a statement to German outletGames Wirtschaft(as translated byVGC), a spokeswoman for Nintendo of Europe simply said that while Gamescom is “a central event in Nintendo’s event calendar,” the company has decided not to take part this year....

Cats and dogs living together TinyBuild has announced today that they’ll be working with Danish developer MEGAFUZZ to releaseSpoiler Alert, an auto-run platform game which plays in reverse. Beginning at the end of the game, already completed, players are tasked with making their way backwards to undo the successfully finished game by replacing collected coins and killed enemies while avoiding those “missed” to prevent a time paradox. It’s currently planned for release on Steam and mobile platforms soon, though no specific date has been confirmed....

Mathis wants to betray Delgado and split the loot with you, and (maybe?) become the Pirate Kings ofStarfield....

That is to say, there’s a lot of blood I was originally going to pass on posting this trailer, but I came across it while I was listening to Lana del Rey’sUltraviolenceand that just seemed like too great of a coincidence. Also, the developer’s name (Wolf Brew) looks like “Wolf Brettt” in the game’s font, and that’d be a better nickname for me than “Wett Brett.” Someone take this up with Steven....
