Variable System aims to change the game In case you missed it,I had a blast playingStreet Fighter V. I spent three hours playing against other journalists and developers from Capcom, and I learned so much about what this new title is all about. Given that they’ve been so tight-lipped, it was refreshing to see them become so open about its development and what they learned. I truly think the fans are in for something neat for this one....
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it. That seems to be Relic Entertainment’s philosophy with the follow up to the most highly regarded strategy game in all the land. As is natural for a sequel, theCompany of Heroes 2developer hopes to expand on what made the original so great by creating an even more realistic and immersive experience with the absolutely stunningEssence 3.0 Engine. The thing struck me about this trailer however, was not the title’s lovely visuals or impressive AI, (neither are on display unfortunately) but the tone in the narrator’s voice as he rattles off the astronomical death toll figures....

Currently on Steam I could always use more co-op games, especially when I’m cooped up with my family. EnterDamaged In Transit, a puzzler thatwas actually released late last month on Steam, but completely went under my radar. According to the developer’s YouTube channel (and the eShop listing),Damaged In Transitwill be released on Switch next week, on April 23. It’s described as a “mind-bending action-puzzler,” that tasks you with controlling two delivery drones across 125 levels....

Origin has secured itself games from eleven more publishers. None of them are quite as huge as thelast selection of companies, but the service has also scored a relatively popular MMO. Games fromCD Projekt RED, Autumn, Recoil, Freebird, 1C Company, inXile entertainment, Paradox Interactive, Core Learning and N3V will all be available on Origin, while the MMORIFTshall be available with bonus content. Assassin’s Creedjust came out this week for the DS and we’re now finally seeing some in game footage. The game looks alright from the limitations that the DS has. Still, there are parts that look really buggy and is hard to stomach.You just can’t help but wonder why they didn’t bother making this on the PSP instead. The mini games look totally tacked on too. Such as the mini game in this footage that looks like it was taken fromElite Beat Agents....
