But apparently, there are monsters and cults, random low-poly character models, and knives too. Basically,Knuckle Sandwichlooks like a messy ball of creativity. I dig it. A recent trailer shares a handful of the strange things that players can do inKnuckle Sandwich. It’s chock full of bits, painting the game as a scattershot experience where nothing’s off limits....

Looking back over 25 years of the animation block’s enduring reviews Toonami celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. For many, it was a window into so many worlds; it was how you learned aboutDragon Ball,Tenchi Muyo, andOutlaw Star. It was the after-school animation programming with hype and lights, battles and arcs. And Toonami also had video game reviews. Growing up, those reviews were unknowingly forming my basis for learning about video games....

There’s something aboutMass Effectthat seems to make everybodygo crazy. Just take this action figure of Liara T’soni, whose originally generous breasts causeda huge ruckus. I didn’t see the big deal because mine are waaaay bigger than that, but this is the final figure, complete with aboob reduction. Aside from the usual debate about sexual objectification, it was an interesting controversy, mostly because it showed just how much emotional investment people have in these characters....

You’re from the internet, so you must love animated GIFs. Here’s some that will do you a bit more good than those Maury Povich loops you spread around. TASVideos has taken some ROM dumpage and made treasure with this series of instructional animated GIFs for the Super Mario Bros series of games. It starts off with the original SMB1 wall jump and builds into advanced sh*t like going through bricks, vine teleport glitching and even walking inside of enemies....

Time for another update from theSuper Meat Boytwitter. First off are a few images from “incidental” aspects of the game. We get a look at thesilhouette of a mysterious dude(Tim?LL Cool J?), a peek at the “dark overworld” of chapter 1, and page 1 ofthe game’s in-game instructions. This one makes me happiest of all, as it confirms thatSuper Meat Boywill have a run button likeSuper Mario Bros. Personally, I feel that the run button is often all that separates the good 2D platformers from the great ones, which further increases my belief thatSuper Meat Boymay go on to be one of the all time great 2D platformers of this generation....

EA Games and Sports Illustrated have come together to create a rather unusual competition for the recently releasedNeed for Speed: The Rundemo. You see, swimsuit modelChrissy Teigen, who actually stars in the game, has challenged allThe Rundemo players with beating her personal best time on the Desert Hill level.The Run‘s demo will only be available from October 18 to November 1. In order to actually enter, you’ll need to tweet @NeedforSpeed with a “NFSTheRun_SI” hash-tag (minus the quote marks of course) along with a picture of your time....

There’s nothing like sports to shore up the bonds of comradely in otherwise disparate, eclectic pockets of the world. Mobile/browser based entry ditches tradition for ‘touch controls’ I like to be mister optimism when it comes to games…even games that are slated for mobile and browser based platforms. But I’ve had an extremely hard time believing that the sixth entry in theBreath of Fireseries is going to deliver an experience that will make me proud, once again, of Capcom’s beloved role-playing franchise. Recently, a bevy of new screens have hit the Internets showcasing a little combat, some village building, and some quite lovely — and adorable — concept art....

Here we have a trailer for the third feature film based onBloodrayne. This direct-to-DVD film from everybody’s favorite director Uwe Boll involves a plot to inject Adolph Hitler with Rayne’s blood. Clearly, we have an masterpiece in the making. Say what you will about Boll, this is the sort of thing I expect fromBloodrayne.Honestly, I think Boll is just the guy to make films based on the license. It’s cheesy and over-the-top and he can deliver that in spades....
