Midway ’07 Holiday Event: Unreal Tournament III (PS3)

Let me be frank here — I’m not great at multiplayer first-person shooters. Be it on the PC using a keyboard and mouse, or a console with dual analog sticks, I’m strictly middle of the road when it comes to skills. But that’s never stopped me from trying. So when I had the opportunity to sit down and get some hands-on time with the PlayStation 3 version ofUnreal Tournament III, I squealed with delight before putting on my “hard” game face....

My experience with Final Fantasy XIV: ARR so far

A beautiful, but typical, MMO Final Fantasy XIVhas had quite the tumultuous history over the years. Back in 2010 I had the chance to play the beta at E3, and almost immediately, I had a pretty terrible time. Now in 2013, Square Enix is getting a second chance with the complete rework titledFinalFantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn....

My six-year-old renamed 150+ Pokémon and the results are adorable

It doesn’t suck, but… Naming characters is a notoriously difficult part of writing fiction, but for my six-year-old son, it’s apparently pretty easy, at leastwhen it comes to Pokémon. He actually didn’t have much of a choice, because he’s a little too young to read on his own. I suppose he could have forced me to read through the book for him, but that would have been pretty boring for both of us....

Don’t say it’s popping, Matt. Keep it together. With the newest trailer for the upcomingMary Poppins Returnswe get an actual look at what the hopeful blockbuster will be instead of hints and teases and… I’m still 50/50.
