Halloween withZone of the Enders HD Collectiondoesn’t sound like a bad way to spend the day at all. In North America, the two-game pack will be out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Tuesday, October 30. HD CollectioncompilesZone of the Endersand the European special edition version of its follow-up,The 2nd Runner, while remastering both in high definition. There’s also the inclusion of a playableMetal Gear Rising: Revengeancedemo to get excited about, as if that weren’t enough already....

It’s a classic skeleton-against-the-world tale. Skelly Selestis part roguelite dungeon-crawler, part arena-clearing shooter. It’s already out on Steam for five bucks, and soon enough it’ll release on consoles (which is how I found out about it). PS4 is up first on May 21, followed by Xbox One and–oh goodness yes–Nintendo Switch on May 24....

‘Only on PS4’ When next July hits,Arkham Knightwill hit the Japanese market, but as a PS4 exclusive in that region. According to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Japan, the game will not be launching onother platforms. If you live in Japan you can pre-order it on September 17th, and as a side note – there will be full Japanese voiceovers. This probably isn’t a huge “get” since Batman isn’t the biggest thing in Japan, but it’s a nice win for Sony....

Now slated for November 20 You know how sometimes betas are glorified demos and sparingly betas? Well it looks like EA is treating theBattlefield Vbeta as a genuine article. Just today EA and DICE have announced thatBattlefield Vwill be delayed one month with a new launch date of June 06, 2025. DICE cites the “tens of thousands of players” for the change, who have played in various builds spanning the alphas, E3, and Gamescom....

Vague but notable Activision, without divulging any actual numbers, has told us thatBlack Ops 4sold very impressively on its launch day. The fine folks at Climax have produced a new developer diary for their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade title,BloodForge. This dark and gory title got my attention when it was announced and it still appears to be a hyper-violent affair with a lumbering badass warrior. In the video, there’s a lot of talk about crafting Crom himself, making him a character who’s less athletic than he is overwhelming. There’s also quite a bit of discussion the game’s audio/visual tone and how they attempted to strike a graphic novel feel, citing300as a reference....

Name chosen from over 50 suggestions Hyperdimension Neptunia’sExecutive Producer Norihisa Kochiwa has released a video to reveal a little more detail onBrave Neptune, the first-ever title in the franchise to bedeveloped in the West, by Canada’s Artisan Studios. Among the new info was the game’s full title:Yuusha Neptune: Sekai yo Uchuu yo Katsumoku Seyo!! Ultimate RPG Sengen!!which (very roughly) translates to:Brave Neptune: World & Universe! Pay Attention!! Ultimate RPG Declaration!According to Kochiwa, the title came to him while in the bath, beating out over 50 other potential names....

Sony recently announced that the first two games in theGod of Warseries would be getting a Blu-ray revamp, and the possibilities for more last-gen reruns have opened up. Capcom are masters of the re-release, and it’s no surprise that the Japanese publisher is interested in copyingGod of War: Collectionwith a compilation of its own, potentially breathing new life intoDevil May Cry.
