The first-ever spinoff forSplatoonis debuting exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2. This spinoff is calledSplatoon Raidersand was revealed through a surprise short trailer that dropped on June 10. Splatoonhas had quite a few games released over the years, but this series has never seen a spinoff until now. When I first saw that Bullet For My Valentine was coming toRock Band 3, I somehow managed to confuse them with My Bloody Valentine (alt-rock darlings from the very early 90’s). But then I saw the tracklist and thought, “Wait, ‘Tears Don’t Fall’ isn’t by My Bloody Valentine.” So, I looked up the music video and realized I was off. Like, not even close. Oh well, the video had 40M views, so I’m assuming there’s at least a few people out there who love them....

Overall, I really enjoyedDead Space 3. There were points that it dragged on, but a lot of the stuff near the end in those last few levels made it up for me. Still,Dead Space 2is my favorite of the franchise largely because of the dementia and horror focus of the game. So I’m actually quite thrilled with the upcoming downloadable content,Awakened. I played the DLC at a recent EA studio visit and, for better or worse, I was more freaked out in the twenty minutes that I got to check out than the entirety ofDead Space 3....

It was widely considered a failure in just about every respect, and Nintendo pulled sales seven months after it debuted in August of 1995 in the US. Personally, I enjoyed the system quite a bit. I had the good fortune of spending an entire week with my cousin after his parents bought him one, and we stayed up very late taking turns using the visor....

If there was one thing this E3 didn’t want for, it was first-person shooters. It got a full-on film inAdvent Children, PSP and PS2 spinoffs, and all sorts of ports and extended cross-media opportunities. It’s one of the most recognizable JRPGs to date for a reason. So it makes sense why people would be curious as to whether or notFinal Fantasy VIIwas theonlything getting a remake....
