September 11 and 25
Nintendo has sent over a helpful bit of info regarding the upcoming amiibo wave. Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, 30th Anniversary Mario Classic Color, Olimar, Zero Suit Samus will launch on September 11, right alongside ofSuper Mario Maker.
On September 25, the “retro 3-pack” will launch, starring Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, and R.O.B. This is inline withthe GameStop eventthat’s being held this Saturday. The Mii Fighters will now launch as a 3-pack in November. More info on the “Mario Modern Color” (read: not Classic Color) amiibo will be given out “in the future.” Confused yet?
So yeah,like I’ve said before, I’m going to import some of these and not rush out to the stores to fight the crowds. I’m done with that.
