Ubisoft are working on a new AAA MMORPG, the publisher revealed through atweetlooking for new staff.A sleuth on NeoGAFspotted it and now the tubes are abuzz with speculation. Following the link on the tweet takes you to the Ubisoft recruitment page where there are ten positions available. Alongside the jobs for the unnamed MMO project are positions for network programmers, specifically for a Wii U title. Both sets of job listings are for Ubisoft Quebec, which has experience with motion control games. The positions could be related.
Nintendo’s upcoming console is meant to have more robust online features and the publisher has already confirmedGhost Recon Onlinefor the Wii U, so it’s not outwith the realms of possibility. Of course, it’s just as likely that the two projects are completely separate, but that shouldn’t halt rampant speculation.
