For better or worse, the company will not be further pursuing game rentals, according to CEO Reed Hastings. I suppose that would explain why there hasn’t been much talk regarding the subject as of late.
It’s disappointing, but expanding to offer games now seems like the wrong strategy as we increasingly move away from discs. If Netflix was going to do it, and do itright, they should have already started by now.
