Yes, that’s still happening
So, do you remember thatMetal Gear Solidmovie that got announced back in 2012? Well, it’s apparently still happening despite the relative silence on the project and all therecent rumblings with Kojima.
Sony Pictures havereportedly hired writer Jay Basuto write the script for the movie. Basu, who co-wrote a movie calledMonsters: Dark Continentthat released last year, is apparently an in-demand up-and-coming writer. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of him or any of his movies before, but at least this is a sign the movie is still in the works.
