(Heat of) fusion of arcade shooting and tactics
Sometimes, players want to take in a thought-provoking narrative, with realistic character development and emotional events. Other times, players just want to shoot robots and blow things up.Meltdownis definitely meant for the latter.
One of the neater features is cross-platform cooperative play.Meltdownis out on Steam Early Access for PC and Mac now, with Android, iOS, and OUYA versions available as well. PC, Mac, and Android players should be able to team up with one another, and cross-platform play is coming soon for the iOS version. Otherwise, it just looks like it could be mindless fun, but then, that might just be thedubstep trailer influencing my opinions…
