Slowly but surely, I’m catching up on all the non-E3 news I missed while I was in Los Angeles last week. And when it comes toMega Man-related stories, I attempt to be on top of them like white on rice (as though that wasn’t obvious to anyone who has ever read my writing).
At the San Diego Comic-Con in July, Archie will be selling a special event-exclusive variant ofMega Man#14 with one of those sketch covers thatpeople love so much. For me, the addition of color seems to soften or outright remove some of the finer details, plus it’s pretty cool to see a “work-in-progress” art piece.
Archie also offered avariant of issue #6at New York Comic Con last year, although it was pretty lazy in comparison. It was just art fromMega Man Powered Upslapped on a white background. This newer cover featuring Mega and Rush is a billion times better in comparison, no?
