Life on the Switch won’t be too strange until later in 2022

The previously delayedLife is Strange: Remastered Collectionis going live soon, but one platform will be taking some extra time. In a new announcement, theLife is Strangeteam confirms that the Switch version of theRemastered Collectionwill launch later in 2022.

TheLife is Strangecollection, which includes remasters of the firstLife is Strangeand its prequelBefore the Storm, will still launch on Feb. 1 for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia. The development team also says there’s some more planned to show off before the launch date too, including an extended look at the collection on Jan. 25.

Nintendo confirmed that Switch versions ofLife is Strange: Remastered CollectionandTrue Colorswere onthe way at last year’s E3 Direct. And whileTrue Colorsisavailable on the Switch right now, looks likeLife is Strangefans will have to wait a little longer than expected to take the adventures of Chloe and Max on the go. The team says it will need “a bit more time” until the Switch versions of the earlierLife is Strangegames are ready.

Life is Strange: Remastered Collectionisstill due out on Feb. 1 for other platformshowever. It will head back to the first game and its prequel, following the time-bending powers of Max Caulfield, who finds herself tangled up in mystery and impending disaster.Before the Stormwas also developed by Deck Nine, the studio that’s gone on to make last year’s excellentLife is Strange: True Colors.

Though these versions will take a little extra time, that hopefully means the Switch versions will arrive in a solid state. And here’s a few fingers crossed for an eventualLife is Strange 2port, too.
