ThatLeft 4 DeadNES-looking demakeis finished, and it’s pretty fun. In case you couldn’t tell from the headline, the game plays like a triple crossbreed betweenLeft 4 Dead,Fester’s Quest, andIkari Warriors. Though it’s a PC-based exe file, the game looks authentic. You even get an image of a fakeLeft 4 DeadNES cartridge at the loading screen. Nice touch. Oh, and you can download the gamehere.
When I booted the game up for the first time, my significant other was looking over my shoulder. Their comment? “Oh my God, I didn’t knowLeft 4 Deadlooked so nice!” No sarcasm there. To at least one person on the planet, this is the superior version of the game.
Thumbs up, Pixel Force. You’ve done good. Now all you have to do is strike up a deal with Valve to release this on XBLA/PSN/WiiWare, and you can get some cash along with your congratulations.
