Bloober Team’s psychological horror adventureLayers of Fearis heading to Nintendo Switch. As you can see from this trailer, the game leans heavily into environmental scares and trippy visuals as you play a disturbed painter trying to work through a creative block and finish his masterpiece.
There’s no release date in sight, but with Halloween approaching, an October launch would be smart.
I played andreviewedthe PC version, which I thought was entertaining, albeit not scary throughout. I also tested the PlayStation 4 version at that time and was underwhelmed by its lousy, tension-killing frame rate. That’ll be something to keep in mind for this Switch port. Hopefully it runs better.
