The BBFC has ratedKillzone 3for British gamers, and spilled a few beans for us in the process — revealing that the PS3 sequel will boast overseventy minutesof cutscenes. Looks like you’ll be doing plenty of watching as well as shooting this time around.
Afew peoplehave already begun to overreact, claimingKillzoneto now be more movie than game. Of course, seventy minutes looks utterly mild compared toMetal Gear Solid 4, so I think we’ll be alright. In fact, I don’t see this as a negative at all — I take it as a sign that Guerrilla is putting some effort into the story, which has always beenKillzone‘s weakest element.
So you know what? Screw the haters. Seventy minutes of plot sounds good to me. I just hope that Guerrilla doesn’t devote too many of those minutes to thatutter prickRico.
Or, even better, we get ten whole minutes of watching him die in the most terrible of ways. Maybe something where he vomits up one of his lungs. I would masturbate to that.
