In the 10 months since it’s release, Ubisoft’sJust Dance 2has become the eighth Wii exclusive title to break 5 million in US sales. It joins the ranks ofMario Kart, New Super Mario Bros. Wii Play, Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort,andSuper Smash Bros. Brawl.Wait, so it’s the first third-party game to sell over 5 million copies?
Given Nintendo’s reliance on first-party software their current list of top sellers isn’t terribly surprising, but it’s definitely nice to see Ubisoft join in the over-five-million club. Just one month ago, it became thebest selling third-party Wii game ever, and now it’s joined the Wii elite or, as I like to refer to them, the Wiilite.
